Our cozy wedding invitation suite, ‘Knit‘ from our new Umi 2 album was ‘made with love’ in mind. We were inspired by the new generation of handmade knits that have brought new life to this age-old art. Handmade goods are expressions of love and patience; the ‘Knit‘ wedding invitation is a tender reflection of that endearing love and warmth. We just can’t get enough of the texture that was created when we letterpress printed this invitation on luxurious 100% cotton rag paper.
We chose soothing ‘Buff’ and ‘Copper’ inks, however, what about ‘Stone’ gray and ‘Navy Blue’ for a nautical theme, or pale ‘Petal’ pink and ‘Smokey Lilac’ for a spring affair?! The possibilities are endless. Take a look below at the inspiration behind this alluring invitation suite, and come back again for more mood boards coming soon from our new Umi 2 album!
